I digress into the midwest, the fields of green await me but no. 35mph stretching roads sprinkled with traffic lights, most likely populated with GE bulbs. I’ve settled in, comforter has come to me in the mail to replace my cardboard corporate-bought blanket.
Shopping malls and chipotle make it slightly comfortable. Downtown Cleveland comprises of sticky divey bars with shiny fore-headed men. Picture dancing light bulbs with un-buttoned shirts and hair flowing out, dancing and intermingling with the glittering gold medallion necklaces, short skirts, brown leathery boobs – welcome to cougartown – my competition.
My sole purpose for the next 6 months is to make consumers like you care about light bulbs. CARE. carecarecarecare. I’ve joined the company softball team. I drink Leinenkugal and redbull & vodka. We make fun of ketchup stain who always wants two pizzaths! Rain, sun, cloud – who knows what pattern mixture of weather the day will bring?

SO. Lately my mind has been on Dragons.
I decided to investigate further-
Dragons are deeply rooted and prevalent in numerous cultures – Primarily Asian & European. In the Chinese culture, Dragons are very auspicious. These mythical creatures represent power, imperialism, and great fortune. In the European culture Dragons are seen as malevolent, fire-spitting monsters.
I want to be BFF with a Dragon. They fly. Spit fire. Look like Dinosaurs and act like snakes. What more can you ask for? Love Eragon, though I haven’t seen the movie. The book is good, I swear by it.
Anyway, let’s take a gander at how the world embraces Dragons – as we all should.

I hope you all appreciate dragons now.
So for some odd reason, I woke up at 5am today.
Lately I’ve been having dreams about the good ol’ days with familiar faces I knew back in high school.
Today, I dreamt about Jackie & Joe. I dreamt that I was looking through facebook (sad I know) and I saw one of Joe’s tagged pictures. It was an old photograph of Jackie, Joe, and some other people. There was a random empty spot tagged on the photograph….which was tagged to me.
Flashing to another scene, Joe and I were talking about how he had been having dreams about demons. He is plagued by them and wishes that there was something he could do about it. We both get into a car and drive off to a place that would help him sort this out–Church.
Then I woke up.
I had such an uneasy feeling inside and couldn’t sleep!!! WTF? Frustrating. So I got up and brushed my teeth and went downstairs to get H20. I am now completely alert. If I think about it….it’s 2am in California. People are just heading to bed.
Dreams are weird. Could it be possible that somebody may have woken me up?
This is the first time in 4 years that I’ve thought about God.
